The environment and conservation issues are very important to tha landscape and economy of Wester ros. Therre are many schemes in place or being developmed to bith protect theenvironemnt and make better use of the natural resources of the area.

This section will cover all aspects of the Wester Ross environment : geology, wildlife, plants and trees, archeological and historical sites, and much more. Some of the information will be provided by local people, others from groups such as the RSPB and Scottish Natural Heritage.
