Blackwood is a working croft with a resident cattle herd, situated within
Arinackaig Estate boasting some 5,800 acres of hill-walking terrain.
Feed
the calves, pamper the donkeys.Take a walk through the glen or picnic beneath
the mountains by the sea loch.
Bring the bikes, canoe and granny too!
These excellent properties make an ideal touring base for exploring the Torridon Hills, Plockton, Skye or the Applecross Peninsula. Some of the scenes from the recent BBC production 'Hamish MacBeath' were filmed on Arinackaig Estate.
Blackwood is one mile from Strathcarron Village with it's railway station, post office, small shop and hotel. Lochcarron Village lies 4 miles to the west where you can find two hotels, a butcher, grocers, bank, garage and filling station.

Is located on the Upper Floor of the Croft House. Sleeps 5 .1 family room plus 1 Twin Room. Sorry - no dogs at Blackwood West.

All prices are inclusive of electricity, fuel and bed linen (towels are available on request). A £50.00 deposit per week is required to secure a reservation.
